So, i was in the preview weekend, did a lot too. Never got any of those charr battle plans. So, because i didnt get any of them, i cant participate in this? Lame.

Lyra said in the Update thread that the battle plans drop again now, so yeah you can participate. Just farm the crap out of Charr.

i killed 100 char so far and got no battle plans. WTF I guess ill try again. but do i need to look for a specific commander? or any charr?

I found some secret plans
My secret decoder says it reads:

"Fill up your hall of monuments by buying purchasing Guild Wars Gold at http//***.*******.*** " and the rest is gibberish

Yeah, once you see the quest rewards you wonder if you should even try it. Seems hardly worth...but hey, might be fun to do if I get really bored at some point.

I've found 2 different battleplans so far, and they just increased the reward apparently, so it's a clever diversion. 100 Charr in the Dragon's Gullet, casing Charr legion leaders in the Flame Temple Corridor...what's next?

I like killing Charr all day...everyday!

where are these battle plans dropping at? Or if they arent a drop, where do you get them? I have the decoder and did the apropriate quests, but cant get the plans. I have vanquished the charr home lands 2 times thru now and no luck. Any help is greatly appriciated.

They only drop from Charrs? Or they may drop everywhere in Gwen as it is said on wiki?

ive been bounty hunting char for weeks and im nearly on rank 7 vanguard, and im yet to get the battle plans drop. They must have an extremely rare drop rate.

I even asked to buy them in the near by outpost and no one replied.

I think Anet needs to re-think the drop rate to have it be a bit more realistic. Ive killed dozens of char in the last few weeks.

I had 2 drop during preview weekend, and then I had one drop from a charr last night in the cathedral of flames. The two I got during preview were dropped by charr in the "charr invaders" quest in Norrhart domains.

I got one during the preview event, which i held onto just as a badge of courage until they sorted it out. Thought about selling them to some goof thinking they were special but didnt. Was only 100rep pts. Got another yesterday as well. Both seemed kind of a waste. It would appear though that they are trying to give us other ways to gain Ebon Vanguard pts as it has the least opportunity to gain pts from quests/dungeons.

I've gotten one since the official release. I had gotten one during the preview but thought it was just another unclaimed quest item and destroyed it to free up space...like a doof.

Well I have now reached rank 7 in the Vanguard title, and I still haven't seen one of these.

The drop rate really does need to be looked at.
